COVID-19 YPS’s Response

1st year of COVID-19

1. Made available Oxygen concentrators for COVID-19 patients who needs oxygen either at home for post COVID nourishment or till to reach to the hospital.
2. Distribution of masks, soap and sanitizers at large scale.
3. Radio programs the CR Yeralavani timely broadcast of COVID-19 situation. Awareness on following social distancing, use of mask and sanitization.
4. Medical helpline for other patients during lock down to get guidance from experts from Sangli.
5. Conducted competitions the radio to involve people , women , children in knowing nutritional diet, COVID-19 dos n don’t, making slogans, drawing pictures , Nutritional recipes for better immunity.
6. Radio school for 8th to 10th grade students

2nd wave,

1. A linkage with Govt health system for early detection on COVID-19 through radio and Whatsapp groups, involving million trees team and ASHA workers.
2. Provided medicines to PHCs, a nutritional kit having vitamins and proteins for those who are asymptomatic or in home isolation.
